Practices requiring unsupported integrations or features

Although NextGen Office boasts a long list of integrations — from eligibility checks with 3,000+ insurance companies to ordering labs directly through the likes of Labcorp and QUEST — there are certain systems it doesn’t connect with natively.

For example, if you use remote patient monitoring devices that aren’t integrated, you’ll have to enter data manually instead of having it sync automatically (alternately, you could create flowsheets and have patients enter the data into their patient portal). Most of these integrations shouldn’t be deal breakers, but since there is no open API, you won’t have the option to build your own integration even if you want to.
